The lodge is situated in the village of Cucklington, Near Wincanton, overlooking the beautiful Blackmore Vale - which infamously provided the alluring backdrop to poet and novelist Thomas Hardy's Tess of the D'Urbervilles. We have a fully equipped kitchen and large dining table that can comfortably seat 14 people. The kitchen has a large gas burner, cooking utensils and plenty of space to cook a banquet. It's the perfect space to entertain and to be entertained.

The Lodge can seat up to 14 people for private parties, business meetings, shooting parties, breakfast, dinners, theme nights and other function requests. It's a highly dynamic space, the lodge has even been used as the location of The Old Inn's video blogs.
