Clinger Farm is a humble little farm situated in a stunning setting in Somerset. Our farm has lots going on from a fully stocked fishing lake to free to roam pigs, White Park beef, bouncing lambs, Pheasant and game shoot and very happy chickens. On top of that Clinger Farm is also home to Peasedown Stud. We supply our meat and produce exclusively to The Shed restaurant Gillingham.
Peasedown Stud at Clinger Farm:
Situated on Clinger Farm, Peasedown Stud was founded in 1987, by Caroline Sutton. The foundation stallion being Cefn Cracker who was by Lyn Cwmcoed.
The stud, with the help of Jo Bartlett - who produced and showed many Peasedown ponies, including her own Peasedown Party Popper, who qualified for Olympia in 1998, has become well known in the workers' section. With many well known ponies competing at HOYS.
Today, the stud breeds Welsh section C's which are true to type, with good temperaments and ability.
